The Michigan MONSTERS of RC is changing racing venues. Effective immediately we will be moving our series to TSS Hobbies and Slot Car Raceway. After some recent problems with our current venue I made a call to a fella named Bill Curtis owner of TSS Hobbies. He raced with us at our Summer Jam over the summer and we had a great time together racing our Stampedes. After the discussion and Mr. Zyck stopping by and checking out the venue we made it official and will be moving all of our equipment down there this coming week and will be having our 2nd Points series race there on the 17th. Same schedule as already planned so there will be absolutely no interruption of our points series. This new facility has a 32′ X 70′ carpet track with pit tables and power already in house. They currently run carpet off road racing on Friday evenings and Sundays. We will still be on Saturdays but there will be no set up on Friday evenings or open practice on Friday evenings.
8am set up time for the track so if any racers can be there at 8am to help set up it would be greatly appreciated. We will have registration from 9am-10am with drivers meeting at 10:15am and racing will start at 10:30am – 11:00am. We should get our times down rather quickly but just be aware that we are moving to a brand new place so we might experience a slight delay starting on time but I really do not see any problems. Sorry for the sudden change of plans but we had to make a decision for what is best for our racers and our series. Mr. Zyck and I will do our very best to provide you with the best Replica RC Monster Jam series ever!!
We are very excited to be working with TSS Hobbies and having our series in a established Hobby Shop. The location is closer for many of our racers and attendance will be awesome! Lots of great opportunity for our club and TSS to have yet another form of sanctioned RC Racing!

All Racers must print out a Racer Registration form and fill it out completely. It is advisable to do this before you arrive so registration will be quick and easy for the PC Operator. This is also required to keep our books solid as we are going to make TSS proud to have us at their facility and is a must have for our business agreement with them.

All Racers running Clods with extended sway bar set ups (ZRP and PRP) must trim their sway bars and install collars on them. 1/8″ DuBro collars work great. Or come up with something that protects the carpet in case of a nose landing or rear end landing. We must take care of the carpet and sway bars that are not trimmed or protected will result in that vehicle not being allowed to compete. Thank you for this!
