The Michigan MONSTERS of RC are back!! After a very long hiatus from the racing scene we are back with a new schedule and to kick things off we are having a Summer Jam to jump start Michigan into High Gear with some Replica RC Monster Jam Racing!! We have had event location issues for some time now, even changed our outlook and plans completely a couple times but the same thing kept coming around whether the buildings were too expensive, too small or the outdoors in the summer would not have had good attendance so I put my head down and worked on getting us a place to race indoors again for racers just like YOU! Well the new owners of the Kellogg Education Center have embraced our community once again and we are back as renters of the facility and we have our full points series scheduled for October – April in the books. None of us could wait till October so we planned a mid summer race and we have many people coming out to join us and some new faces as well. It is going to be great to see our returning members and some new racers on the carpet ready to stage up at the tree. We have changed a couple things in our organization so be sure to download and print off your new Rule Book and get your trucks ready for battle because this season is going to be hotter than ever. We have loads of spectator seating so bring your friends and family and spend a day with the MONSTERS and let have some FUN!
Novice trucks must now use stock 27T motors and stock gearing to keep our kids racing fun and exciting for them. You may enter a Freestyle specific truck for the show at the end of racing, it must meet technical requirements of a racing class but will not have to be entered for racing. We know how hard people work on there race rigs and it will be nice to have a Freestyle only rig to beat on. Pro Modified now has a 14.8V limit on Voltage for your battery packs. We also are announcing our new class for our events which is sure to be a hit with young and old, experienced or rookies and for someone who just doesn’t have a wad of cash to sink into a competitive full blown Pro Mod. The Traxxas Box Stock Monster Jam Stampede class is going into full swing this July and we are excited to be offering a class for these awesome looking replica MT’s.

The I-69 Exit that has these two hotels has a Meijer store w/ Gasoline and Diesel right there for everything you might need for supplies. Event location is approx. 20-25 minutes from these hotels. After the race Charlotte has plenty of great restaurants to choose from for your hunger fix. I recommend the Eaton Pub and Grill for Dinner or the Eaton Place for breakfast before the event or before you head out to go back home. They are right on Main Street on the West side of the street, both places are right next to each other. We also have a host of Pizza places to choose from for the pie eaters. While at the event we have a Subway a couple blocks away and a great restaurant for Take Out called Good Time Pizza.
If you need any further information please feel free to contact me and I will get right back with you.
Thank you for your support of Michigan Monster Truck Racing. Hope to see you there!
