I have been looking forward to reviewing the Hacktronic 120a ESC and Programing card from Yeah Racing and rcMart. The ESC is small and that is a great feature if you are racing Touring Cars or Sprint Cars like myself as both of these cars have limited mounting locations and the smaller size is almost a necessity, besides the benefit of less weight, if you are watching all your grams.
The first impressions I had when I first received the speed control, quality packaging, nicely snug in the box so it is not bouncing around and damaged during shipping. I would have preferred the Programming card in a box like the ESC, but none the less it came in great condition as all my items do from rcMart.
These Items are such high quality you will be impressed as much as I was. The Hacktronic Speed Control comes with instructions, decals to bling out your ride, battery plugs and a super powerful fan… The fan will keep almost anything cool!!!!
The programming box is only $22.90 at rcMart.com and does everything you could ask for. Along with all the programming options you could use. The size is small enough to keep in your pocket and that will save time at the track not having to run back to your pit stations or carry around a large bulky programming box.
As you can see a simple AAA battery is nearly as wide as the programming card.
Yeah Racing Hacktronic-T Touring Turbo 120A Programmable Brushless Sensored ESC with the fan assembled on it.
As you can see in my Dirt oval Sprint Car, space is extremely limited and if the ESC was any larger it would hang off the edge of the car.
Hooking up the programming card to power it up is a simple process. Simply disconnect the ESC plug from the receiver and plug it into the programming card and it will power up. The screen will light up for easy viewing and will display the current version
The ESC is loaded with a lot of different programming options including “Blinky Mode” which is perfect for organized racing like dirt oval or Touring Racing events.
Many options are easily programmed including drag brake and if you like you can just turn the option completely off.
The Hacktronic-T is the ESC Preset in Touring Programs which allows the change of 10 Parameters with the Hacktronic Program Card #HTN-301 (Sold Separately). 10 Parameters are Timing Start, Timing, Timming Interval, Turbo Delay, Turbo Timing, Turbo Interval, Drag Brake, Initial Brake, Brake Frequency, Punch, PWM. Which makes the ESC very adaptable to different track condition and car set-up.
A revolutionary ESC that allows you to switch from Touring, Drift and Crawler programs on one ESC (With the “Hacktronic Firmware Update USB Cable #HTN-303”, Sold Separately). Fully Programmable in each program with its own set of parameters and very user-friendly interface.
