Jason Ruona, JR Mitch, Daimon Borkowitz, Felix Law and Austin Venezia win with JConcepts at Super Cup Championship Series round 4.
They say April showers bring May flowers. Good for the flowers but not if you are trying to hold an RC race in South Florida. Once again JConcepts hit the road to Coral Springs for the JConcepts Super Cup Championship Series race #4. Friday practice at CSRCCC had threatening skies looming overhead with a thirty percent chance of rain for race day, Saturday afternoon.
All thirty percent of rain seemed to pour down Saturday morning. With a few phone calls there now was a plan B which was put into effect to relocate the event to Basher’s indoor RC Raceway in Palm Beach Gardens. Thanks to modern technology and email, Gmail, Texting, Facebook, RCTech, and any other form of communication you can think of, the word quickly spread to the racers about the move. Special thanks to Brian Buckley owner of Basher’s RC Raceway for having a well prepared venue, able to host 185 racers at a moment’s notice.
