REO Raceway presented the Mafia Mayhem race on Saturday March 8^th in Rockport, Indiana.  Track owner Jay Bickel was very pleased with the 155 entry turnout, one of the largest ever at REO.  Track announcer Shawnda Bickel did a great job of keeping things moving, getting in three qualifiers and 10 minute mains in less than 12 hours. X Factory’s Paul Sinclair presented an RC racing seminar Friday evening after practice, drawing a crowd of racers with lots of in-depth questions.

X Factory team drivers Paul Sinclair and Cody Bickel dominated most of the racing action, taking TQ and winning 4 classes.  Sinclair took the TQ in 4wd and the fiercely-fought 2wd buggy class, just one second over his teammate, and was able to cruise to a victory in both Amains.  Cody wrapped up the truck classes, showing incredible pace with his X-60CF and SCX-60CF.  Particularly exciting was the short course Amain, which featured 5 drivers in the hunt for more than half the race until Cody was able to break away with 4 minutes to go.
