Jarodd Goedel is what you might call our “Hometown Hero”. He’s local to us, and a member of Team Soup, having assisted in our 2wd Short Course Truck Shootout and the 2wd Traxxas Slash LCG Chassis Shootout. This past weekend at Motorama he qualified 4th in the Stock Short Course class, easily making the A-main. We thought it was about time we gave our “stig” some official recognition.

How did he get involved in RC Racing? Got a Radio Shack R/C car as a gift when I was 10.
Do you prefer Electric or Nitro? Either
Are you bummed there was no nitro at MR this year? Yes, but my throat is happier.
Any tips for new RC racers? Don’t try to do too much at once. Visit a local track and see what people are running. Ask a bunch of questions and don’t be afraid to ask anything.
What is your favorite racing class? 1/8th nitro buggy.
Do you do any R/C outside of racing? Flying and crawling.
Any other details about yourself you’d like to share? I own Canalside Racing Products which offers Kalgard products and recently released a carbon fiber chassis brace for the SC10 4×4. Look for new products coming soon.
