Now, off-roaders can own the successor to the innovative D4 and the buggy that took the top spot in 4WD modified at the ROAR NATS: the 1/10 scale, 4WD D413. It was designed by Torrance Deguzman, track-tested by Ty Tessmann and proven an able competitor in top-level competition. The D413 was built to survive the brutal conditions on-track and to offer the driver every advantage in a race. The biggest is the ability to change front- to-rear balance with pack configuration. The D413 chassis can be set up for a standard saddle pack or a shorty LiPo pack. Another is the inclusion of three compact, highstrength gear diffs — a design feature that allows the use of extra-powerful brushless motors and lets the driver fine-tune steering, traction and cornering by changing diff oil weights.
Other features include:
- Race-tunable suspension, with adjustments for roll center, kick-up, anti-squat, camber and toe-in
- 0.5” (12 mm) Big Bore oil shocks with threaded bodies and mud guards
- Triangular shock tower mounts for added strength and crash resistance
- Versatile steering system with minimal bump-steer and Ackermann geometry for complete control
- HB monocoque suspension arms provide stiffness, strength and adjustability
Tough, tunable and versatile, the Hot Bodies D413 is just right for racers who want a head start on a podium finish.
