Time for Bag B!
Front Arms and Uprights.
This is interesting.
There are multiple options for the trailing axle inserts. Option 4 is the stock setup. Make sure the arrow is pointing forward for your desired selection. Also make sure both the right and left sides are on the same setting.
We insert the desired trailing axle inserts into the steering block.
Then of course install those included bearings.
These are the front axles. It’s a pretty simple design. They slide through the steering block and are secured from the back with a button head screw.
Use LOTS of this on the screw that holds that axle in unless you want to see your wheel and axle rolling down the straightaway at the track.
Front axles done.
Now it’s time for the caster blocks.
These have some built in as well. There are two caster block inserts included (0° , 5° ). The 5° is the standard ones used.
They just slide into place. You can install an optional #4670 set screw to better hold the caster block inserts and hinge pin.
Installing the caster block bushings.
Assembling the steering block to the caster block.
Done and ready to be installed on the front arms.
This is as simple as inserting a hinge pin and securing with the capture screw.
Front arms and steering parts completed.
