Time for the rear. Once again we put the upper shock mounts in these holes based on using the box stock setup.
Rear camber links which we built earlier. I built all of the camber links at the same time, made it easier.
Now the rear shocktower gets mounted to the transmission housing. Pro-Line threw their high performance transmission on this truck. It features metal internal gears, and a gear differential. Our differential was devoid of oil, and I opted to fill it with 5k diff fluid as per the stock setup. The transmission comes preassembled and mounted to the chassis, so if you opt to add diff fluid you’ll need to pull it apart.
The rear body mounts are much like the front, except in the rear the mounts get swept back to better align with the body.
The rear posts are very long. You’ll need to trim them once you determine how long to set them for your body. If you go with the FloTek, you’ll need them pretty short. Most of this post will get cut off.
This little post is all that will stick through the body. It gets a small o-ring which provides a squishy backing for the thumb nut to tighten on to.
Here’s where we are at to this point. For your reference, I got to this point in a little over an hour and a half. And this was with taking pictures every step of the way.
