The C Hubs and steering knuckles are next. The kit includes a full complement of metal ball bearings.
The front axles ride in the bearings.
It gets 2 shims.
before inserting the drive pin
on which the 12mm hex will get mounted.
Now we can mount the steering knuckle assembly to the front A arm with another captured hinge pin.
One done. The included wheel nuts have a rubber seal and are serrated which will help keep them from backing off.
The upper camber link finishes off the C Hub installation for this side.
If you are building your truck to the stock setup, the steering links get built to 87.5mm from center to center of the eyelets.
Attach them to the steering knuckles.
Another instance of using a captured screw. Using the captured screws and hinge pins will certainly do wonders for durability on this truck.
