First up is the front bumper.
Next we attach the front shocktower to the bulkhead. Or is the bulkhead being attached to the shocktower? hmmmmm.
Now we can attach the bumper to the bulkhead/shocktower combo.
On the upper shock mount, there are two options for how to mount it. We’re following the box stock setup for this build, and we’ll adjust as conditions dictate once we get this truck on a track.
This will be the base of the body mounts. The Pro-2 includes Pro-Line’s nifty “Secure Lock Body Mount System”. This features thumb screws as opposed to body clips. If they work out, it might mean the end of body clips for me. It seems I lose at least two every race day.
This is where the grub screws will attach. These small screws will be all that goes through the body.
Now we can start building the front camber links.
And attach them to the front shock tower.
Next up we mount the front A arms.
This metal brace doesn’t just look cool, it will reduce flex.
I like the fact the the hinge pins are captured, meaning one side gets a nut. I really don’t like E Clips. Sure, they work most of the time, but they are a pain in the butt to put on for me.
