RC Soup is pleased to announce the addition of our newest contributor and Team member, Jim Hustins! He’ll be representing RC Soup at the track and on the web in his R/C endeavors. Jim brings with him a wealth of knowledge and racing experience. Below is a little more info about Jim, along with a personal statement from him.
Hometown: Middletown, NY
Home Track: Barnstormer’s RC in Chester, NY
Experience: I have been playing with RC cars since 1st grade. I started racing in 1994 and currently race for Pro-Line Racing, Viper RC Solutions, RC Monster, and Hy-Traction Juice. My specialty is Short Course racing, but I also race 1:10 and 1:8 buggy. I recently started racing on carpet and also enjoy scale crawling.
I look forward to covering races that I attend in the north east for RC Soup. While at races I help others with setup help and driving tips. Videos from races and pit tips will be posted on my YouTube channel.
Look for me at races and come say hi if you need any help at the track.
