Center diff time!
The center diff is a pretty standard 1/8 type assembly.
The first thing that caught my eye was the difference in length of the center shaft. The front is the long one and the rear is the short one.
When I assembled the center diff into the motor mount and rear diff support I had to grind the top cover where the gear teeth were touching. It was very slight, but I ground it to make sure.
Center diff brace is optional per some of the recommended Tekno setups. I am still running mine, but will try it without.
Don’t forget to put in the front driveshaft before you screw down the center diff like I did the first time. Derp!
Rear chassis brace is added. I took it out after the first race. It makes the chassis flex more and seems more forgiving in large ruts.
The rear assembly is added to the chassis. Don’t forget the rear shaft.
Its starting to look like something. Something FAST!
