Now that the rear end is done lets move on to the front end.
Bag H includes the steering parts like the knuckles, hubs, and axles.
The steering assembly goes together like any other 1/8 buggy.
Press the steel bushings into the uprights.
Assemble the shaft assemblies like rear ones. Remember to use Locktite on the set screw. Press the bearings into the steering knuckle.
Add the composite drive hexes and wheel nut to secure everything. My next upgrade will be the optional aluminum hexes.
Once you insert the shaft through the bearings place the assembly into the uprights. Line the knuckle between the bushings and secure them with screws. Use Loctite.
Build the other side the same way.
The front end assembly build is almost a copy of the rear assembly.
The noticeable difference with the front arms are the cutout to allow the steering knuckles to clear at full lock.
Camber links are set per the manual. They haven’t been shortened yet to get the correct camber.
