Bag A. Always the start of a kit. Diffs first. Since they are all the same (or at least similar) I’ll only show you one being built.
All needed screws are located in the assemblies that require them. This is a subtle touch, but for anyone that has built kits that have one single large hardware bag this means simplicity!
Once the bearings are slid over the outdrive shafts you insert them into the diff housings.
The diff and spider gears are very high quality and mesh very well. No binding was found.
The center diff gear is made from composite. I was a little worried about having such a large gear not made from steel, but so far I have had no issues.
The rest of the diffs are assembled in the same fashion as the previous one.
One design feature I liked was the ends of the diff shafts having their ends machined down. These shafts lock into grooves in the diff housings preventing excessive slop.
Now we have 3 differentials assembled.
