Hey Central New Yorkers (and others),

This is just a reminder that the RC Pro Series Northeast Division Round 1 is next weekend (Fri, Jun 7 to Sun, Jun 9, 2013) @ CRC Raceway in Rome, NY.

Classes are divided into the nationally run Pro Series classes, and the local club level classes. Prices vary as follows:

Pro Series classes: $40 first class / $30 after1/8 Nitro Buggy and Truggy
1/8 E-Buggy
1/10 4WD Short Course

CRC club classes: $25 if first class / $20 if second (or third, etc)
1/8 E-Truggy
1/10 2WD Short Course 13.5
1/10 2WD Short Course Open
1/10 2WD Stadium Truck

TLR team driver Billy Fischer is all booked and heading to Rome again for the event. Hot shoes from all over the Northeast coming to take a shot at him. Lots of local interest as well.

Tony’s Pizza will be setting up all weekend for your dining pleasure and they will have the awesome breakfast pizza, hot and ready in the morning.

Practice Friday, qualifying Saturday and mains Sunday. They’ll be broadcasting on LiveRC.

The Pro Series isn’t just for Pros (I sure don’t claim to be one), but it’s a big race that typically draws some bigger names to Central New York. We hope to speak to a few of those guys and continue with our popular “Meet the Pros” segment.
