Bag F. This build is moving right along
These little bushings will get inserted into the arms so that the hinge screws don’t bind.
On the front arms, there are screws from the front and back through the arms into the hub carriers.
For the rear arms, there is a long screw that goes through the whole arm and hub carrier, and is captured with a nut in the back
Here’s the current status. Looking pretty good.
Time for the sway bars. We have to build the links first. There is a small threaded rod which will go inside the end link. It had a hex on one end so I could thread it in properly
There is a 1:1 scale picture in the book of what the sway bar end links need to look like once completed.
Now they’ll each get a small metal bushing on one end for the mounting screw to go through
On the other side is the piece the sway bar will go through
Mount the end links to the arms
These covers hold the sway bars to the diff housing.
Now we slide the end of the sway bar into the link attached to the arm and tighten the small grub screw.
The sway bar links get screwed onto the arms for the rear.
To hold the rear bar in place, there are small plastic blocks which will get screwed to the shock tower.
Now we can tighten the end links on the sway bars.
