Atomik V2MR 2WD Buggy Review

Motorama was the first race with the buggy. I left the setup as they showed in the instructions. Ride height I set what I thought would be best. I mounted a set of Proline Scrubs for the front and a set of Proline Suburbs for the rear. Motorama is a track that is built a couple of days before the event. It is a high grip clay, but very bumpy. Tire prep is a must. I tried to break in the tires the best I could on the asphalt around the pit area. During practice the buggy felt great. I was taking it easy trying to get a feel for the car, but I could feel the car had more. I geared it higher and changed the front shock positions to get some more on power steering.

During practice I clipped a pipe and broke the servo horn. It was the one from the kit. We tried to replace it with an aluminum version, but because it has a particular offset we had to use another kit piece. No problems since. I was getting faster and faster with the buggy through qualifying not changing the setup. I qualified 8th for the B Main in Stock Buggy. The only thing I changed for the main was raising the rear ride height to get some more off power steering. I finished 6th.
