Below is an interview between Team Serpent and their newest driver, Dominic Greiner.
Hello Dominic, Welcome to Team Serpent
Q: Which races do you plan for 2013 season?
A: I will drive the European Championship B in Gubbio, the European Championship A in Kirchberg/Graz, the German Championships (all I.C. 200 mm) and maybe the German Masters in Pro10 electric. Further on, I will race the qualifcation races in southern Germany, too.
Q: What is your hometrack, and what is your best result there?
A: My hometrack is Türkheim in the south of Germany and my best result on there was the German Championship Title Pro 10 last year.
Q: Which engine, radio, servo, body and tyres will you run?
A: Engine will be a Picco, radio and servos come from robbe/Futaba. Due to the aerodynamic situation bodies are a difficult affair, but I think I will drive the P37
and the Spark body and the car is running on Xceed Tires, besides from European Championships and any other races with controlled tyres.
Q: What education and / or job do you do?
A: I finished my apprenticeship for industrial mechatronics technician this year in January, and now I have a job in the same company as industrial mechanic.
Q: What is your best race-result to date and in which class?
A: My best result was the Pro 10 Title last year, but the two third places at the last German Champs I.C. 200 mm were also very important for me.
Q: Who is your favorite rc racer and why?
A: My favourite rc racer is Atsushi Hara, because he is incredible fast in all classes, and the design of the bodies he is using is very beautiful. He shall a very friendly person, and I hope I can meet him personally in the next years.
Q: What is your 1st bigger race this year?
A: It will be the European Championship B on the first week of June.
Well the best of luck and speed this season, we hope to see you on the races and on the podium often!
