Here are the awards. They gave them out for TQ, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the A Mains.
I actually designed these as well, and Gary Jeffries of Gary’s Precision Graphix did an amazing job of printing and mounting them. If you ever need quality full color vinyl, he’s the man to talk to.
Here’s the official results of the whole event, followed by all the podium shots.
Special thanks to Dick Decker for grabbing all the photos of the awards.
Overall it was a smooth running weekend, and a great way to end the carpet season. I think the move to March was a good thing, and the entry count is a good indicator as well. It was the biggest Northeast Nationals yet. Hopefully it will continue to grow and bring out oval racers from the Northeast. Every year it gets run a little bit smoother and I’m sure that trend will continue.
It was a rough weekend for me, with the Hillbilly Hoedown the day before (2 trophy races in one weekend). It was worth the trip to both though.
See everyone next year! I need a nap.
Thanks for the great coverage Kevin, enjoyed racing with everyone at the NEN, see everyone in the fall.
