Overall, Team Soup had a lot of fun. It was exhausting helping to organize what we did. In fact, I pretty much was useless on Sunday while I recouped from the long day (left the house @ 6:30AM and returned at Midnight). The race wasn’t without it’s hitches, such as a partial power outage to the pit area due to ??. I heard it was a phase coming into the building? Regardless the races continued after around 30 minutes of trying to fix it, race management decided to keep the show running, though we ended up going down to 2 rounds of racing from a planned 3 due to the delay. Nobody seemed bothered by it.

Despite minor issues like the above, the race was still a glowing success for Central New York. Most everyone walked away with a door prize of some sort. Children’s Miracle Network got some funding through RC Soup’s Benefit. If you look at the racing results, there were some pretty close and exciting races as well.
