Time to mount the monstrous tires. The tread is directional, so pay attention to how you mount the tires. Slide the rim into the tire, lining it up with the bead in the wheel.

These tires are setup for opposite sides of the truck. With both wheels facing the same way, you can see the tread pattern pointing opposite directions.

We’re going to use Standard Losi Tire glue on these. It gives us a few seconds before it sets to get the tire lined up just right.

I like to glue one side on every tire first, then let the tire sit for an hour or so to let the glue fully dry before flipping it over and doing the other side.

Just like any other RC tire, make sure the bead of the tire is set into the bead on the rim so it sets up correctly.

To mount the wheels to the truck, first you must install the hex adapters over the wheel axles. They have splines on the inside to slot onto the axles.

Here is how the hex will turn the wheel. These plastic rings have holes that fit onto the inside of the wheel, and then they slide over the hex.

Now we can mount the wheels. Wow these things are huge.
