Now we’ll flip the chassis over, and work on the body mounts a bit. This plastic strap spans the chassis, helping with rigidity as well as serving as a home for the front body mounts.
Tamiya uses mostly Phillips head hardware in this kit, as shown with this screw which holds the front body mount on
To mount the front bumper, you simply need a couple of 3mm screws
Slide the bumper on and install a nut on the top.

The rear body mounts are very similar to the fronts, and they go on in the same fashion.
The plastic strap spans the chassis, and you fasten a screw into the body mount from the bottom.
Now we can mount our servo. It gets put into the bottom of the chassis pan, make sure to route the steering links through the holes in the chassis.
Three screws hold the servo assembly to the bottom of the chassis.

This next piece is a part of the battery tray. That small plastic piece inside is used to limit the battery, so that it can’t have slop back and forth. Just two screws from the outside are all you need to hold it in place.
The assembly gets mounted to the side of the chassis.
