With the powerplant out of the way, it was time to address the next issue. When I went to the long wheelbase arms in Stage II, the stock shocks really showed their limits. So, I picked up a set of stock Losi SCTE 4×4 shocks.
I took the rubber boots off the shocks as I’ve had issues with shock boots in the past.
I experimented a bit with the shock oils. I wanted something that had roughly the same pack and rebound as the stock Traxxas shocks. I went with Losi 25 weight oil in the front, and Losi 20 weight oil in the back.
And there she is! Stage III is complete. Ok folks, have a good day. 🙂
What? Oh, you want to know how it performed? Well, turn to the next page my friends.
