New out from Serpent are composite Spur gears for the E-Cobra

For Cobra 1/8 electric  cars, the e-buggy (race and sport) and the electric GT, Serpent now offers 3 sizes composite spur gears with molded steel insert, complete with fasteners and gasket.

The composite gears are much lighter to improve acceleration and speed and are more silent than the standard steel ones.

These are expected to be available in September 2012
