Cruz is one of the younger hotshoes at CRC Raceway and Outback Raceway. He is quickly gaining the respect of his fellow racers as someone who is a force to be reckoned with. He made a very good showing at the 2012 Short Course Nationals at RC Madness. You can read all about it right here.
We here at RC Soup are more “club racers” than anything else. We are no where near as good as the Pros. We wanted to add another local driver to the team, and with Cruz’s dad (John Zachary) already a contributing writer and photographer, it was the perfect fit. Having a few better drivers on our crew allows us to better field test new products, give a better balance to shootouts, and better cover events that some of the staff cannot make it to, but the drivers can.
As such, we recently offered Cruz a spot as a Team Soup driver. We are happy to report that he accepted our invitation! Please help us in welcoming Cruz to the Team!
