Hey Central New Yorkers (and others),

This is just a reminder that the RC Pro Series Northeast Division Round 2 is this weekend (Fri, Jun 8 to Sun, Jun 10, 2012) @ CRC Raceway in Rome, NY.

Team Soup has been scoping out the new track since it was built. We were in attendance for the races last Thursday and this past Sunday to lay down some laps and try out the track.

I have to say, I like the new layout a LOT! The consensus was pretty much the same from the rest of the guys on the ride home. It’s really fun, a little technical in parts but still fast. A good balanced layout we think. We can’t wait to make it back up for this weekend.

The Pro Series isn’t just for Pros (I sure don’t claim to be one), but it’s a big race that typically draws some bigger names to Central New York. We hope to speak to a few of those guys and continue with our popular “Meet the Pros” segment.
