Matt Well folks, that’s it! Total build time was right around 2.5 hours, with taking pictures. Not too bad.
The chassis sits significantly lower than the stock body. We’ll need to shorten up the body posts, and possibly pickup a body that we can leave long on the sides. But for now we are leaving the stock body so people will know they just got passed by a Slash!!!
Thanks for following along on the Slash 4×4 SSC Build. Between now and the shootout, I will be campaigning this truck locally, working on the setup to get it perfect. I’ll put up a post or two with how its going before the shootout actually arrives, and let you know what experiences I have with the Shining Star Chassis.
