For this build, I’m using an old Futaba S3004 servo. This is a standard ball bearing servo that averages like $12. This one is used, with some damage to one of the mounting ears (we don’t use that hole for this build anyway, so it won’t effect anything).
The servo gets mounted to servo posts and slid through the top of the chassis tub, facing downward.
Here you can see that we only use 2 mounting holes. The servo saver is also installed at this point.
Now we snap on the steering linkage.
The front suspension arms slide into a hole in the chassis tub at the rear, and the fronts rest in grooves.
Now we attach this lower brace that keeps the arms locked into said grooves.
Front bumper mounted up.
Front bumper again, mounted with 3 screws to that front bulkhead piece.
