The first production run included “Bonus parts”. This is a set of (8) 5×11 ball bearings. It’s a weird decision on Tamiya’s part because the truck actually uses (9) 5×11’s and (1) 5×8 bearing. So, you end up with a mix of bearings and bushings in the truck unless you were to order some individual bearings from somewhere like FastEddy Bearings. (On my To Do list).
Our typical unboxing shot. In usual Tamiya style, everything is nicely packaged so that stuff doesn’t shift much in shipment.
Here’s everything out of the box. Like the Unimog, there’s not much to it. You can see the ABS plastic body here (like a static model).
