Method RC has released another installment in its bid to show that performance and good looks can come in the same package. The Sabre Clear Body (MTH1002) fits the TLR Losi 8IGHT, 8IGHT 2.0, and 8IGHT-E 2.0. The jet fighter appearance of the Sabre buggy body is no accident. From the integrated turning vanes at the base of the windshield that act as vortex generators to the upswept sidepods, along with a few other secrets we won’t give away, this body was carefully designed to provide optimal aerodynamic balance and stability while maximizing overall downforce. Sabre was designed to perform around the whole track, not just during off-power cornering. Fortunately for you, all of this performance comes in a sleek package that you’ll be proud to show off to everyone.
Sabre Features:
- Vortex generators on the nose work in conjunction upturns at rear of the sidepods to direct more air towards the wing
- Compact body minimizes frontal area (reduced drag), lowers weight (better acceleration and braking), and lowers CG (better turning)
- Clearance for most 4S lipo batteries
- Made from 0.040″ thick water-clear, high-impact mar resistant polycarbonate (Lexan body)
- Integrated overspray film and included window masks will give your paint job a professional appearance
- Clear overspray film makes it easier to see your paint colors as you apply them
- Included Velcro® strips secure your body to your chassis helping to keep dirt and debris out
- Proudly made in the USA
