RC Soup will be attending the Spektrum New Year’s Dash on January 14th and 15th!

The Spektrum New Year’s Dash is an annual carpet oval race that is put on by CRC Raceway and Hobbies in Rome NY. The event has grown in the 15 years it has been running. So much so that the race is actually held at an offsite facility, one big enough to house the quantity of entrants this event attracts. This year will be the 16th year of this event, and will be at the Kallet Civic Center, 159 Main Street, Oneida NY.

They open Friday evening, 1/13,  at 6pm, but only for sign ups and to setup pit space. Practice starts 8AM Saturday 1/14, with the heats starting at 2PM. They will run 3 heats Saturday. Then, the track opens Sunday morning at 8AM for practice, with 1 more heat, and then the Mains.

It promises to be a great weekend, CRC always puts on a great show. RC Soup will be there to partake in and document all of the excitement. We will be signing autographs, free of charge, so come say hello when you’re there.
