Front end/steering now complete.
Rear tires mounted and ready for pavement.
Body is painted Fiery Orange Metallic, Outlaw Black, and Spaztix Mirror Chrome for the trim.
Like the CC-01 build, this car wasn’t designed with hard case lipos in mind.. It’s got a rounded battery area, where the normal shotgun style stick pack would fit. I could have squared off the radius easily with my Dremel, but decided to leave it alone for now. The battery still fits, unlike the CC-01, it just makes it hang down a little lower.
Build complete. Ready for action!
I use Traxxas High Current connectors on all my 1/10 electronics. They are my favorite plug, as they are easy to pull apart, not hard to solder, and have a higher current rating than Deans.
Next we test it!!
