Below is the center skid plate. This is notched for nuts as well, and you install them, then place scotch tape over them so they do not fall out when you invert and install the skid plate.

First we mount the center skid plate to the center transmission.

We then invert the assembly and drop it into the truck from the bottom. Screws go through the side plates and into the nuts in the center skid plate to attach it to the truck.

Transmission is installed and driveshafts connected from the center transmission to the drive axles.
